Events Recap:
The Glasgow School of Art Master of Fine Art
More than a few hundred art lovers descended on Glue Factory’s newly refreshed spaces in June to view the unique artworks of GSA’s graduating MFA students. It’s been a brilliant month for visual art fans in the city – with multiple shows from GSA and Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Art. Agile City’s GI highlights included EXIT’s first visual art show IGNOTO – Paintings by Luke Caulfield and Le Mardi Gras Listening Collective, with performances from Louis Digital, Rubadub’s Mother and Richard, and Agile City’s very own Clarry aka DJ Amtrak.
RIAS Shortlist 2024
Agile City’s Rob and Abigale attended the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Awards in June following Civic House making the shortlist of Scotland’s outstanding new buildings.
The winners of this year’s Scottish national architecture awards included new homes, workplaces, community and cultural buildings – with several demonstrating excellence in retrofitting and repurposing existing buildings.
Congratulations to all the incredible buildings making this year’s shortlist! You can find out about the winners here.
