Opportunity – Campus Caretaker
Agile City CIC are delighted to announce an opportunity for a 12 month fixed term contract for a Campus Caretaker.
We are seeking a practical-orientated, creative-problem solver, and proactive Campus Caretaker to support the regular maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of our campus of spaces.
Glue Factory and Civic House are post industrial buildings which have undergone an ambitious retrofit. Civic Street is a live project which aims to develop once derelict land into a public space of innovation – a space for ideas to be put into practice.
The Campus Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining our award-winning spaces to a high standard for the variety of communities we serve.

- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and high standards.
- Enthusiasm for sustainable approaches to buildings and their activities they support.
- Thrives in a busy environment with a varied workload from day to day.
- Eye for detail and finessing: making sure simple things are done well.
- Takes pride in their work place and actively seeks to improve it.
The role:
As the Campus Caretaker you will work closely with the Projects + Facilities Manager. We work closely as a team, while ensuring everyone has autonomy to deliver their roles. The successful candidate will enjoy working independently and have ownership of building maintenance + improvement, and Campus cleaning + upkeep.
