Thus hums the worm

‘Thus hums the worm’ brings together the work of Jennifer Aldred, George Douglas, Allegra Pedretti and Jan Shotaro Stigter whose diverse practices range from painting to sculpture to sound, yet are connected by an idea of ‘drawing’. The concept of drawing is seen here as an exploration of uncertainty, imagining the progression of the line as a process of working things out, working towards an unknown, layering, collecting, erasing, balancing and moving — as part of a continuum with no beginning and no end.
