Pecha Kucha 25: Visions of Future Cities
Curated By Institute for Future Cities
In 2013, Glasgow became the UK’s Future City Demonstrator, winning £24million to use new technologies to become a better city for the future. As part of the Future City Demonstrator project, Strathclyde University has created the City Observatory, a project to use Glasgow and other global cities as ‘living labs’ where we can collaborate to develop new understanding of cities, test new approaches to solving urban problems and accelerate innovation.
Part of what the City Observatory project does is promote collaboration with regards to issues related to Future Cities between many different groups, this Pecha Kucha will be an exploration of these themes and partnerships.
