Gomo Kimchi Workshop
Written by Eddie from Gomo Kimchi
Have you ever wanted to learn how to cook a Korean meal from a professionally trained, award-winning chef? Well, keep scrolling because that’s definitely not me.
But, just because the Allison St shop is shut doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of our greatest hits (as well as some specials we never got around to rolling out) at home.
Continuing our workshop series, Gomo Kimchi will be offering Korean cooking demos.
The menu for these demos will vary from one to the other, with space limited to 12 people each session.
You will learn the basics of how to make a full, homemade Korean meal as taught to me by Umma Kim, including 1 main, two banchans, and a starter. We’ll taste as we go, go over the general approach to a typical Korean meal, and chat.
Think of it like a dinner party but lunch, and you learn cool stuff.
BYOB, a little Saturday afternoon soju? Soju Screwdriver? Soju and Yakult? We’re not here to judge.
First come, first served.
*Note: Unfortunately, we can’t refund cancellations, but we will do our best to give you a slot at the next available demo, space permitting.*
