Doors Open Day 2026 – Glue Factory Tour

Discover the transformation of the Glue Factory from a private industrial site into a vibrant cultural hub during an open drop-in event hosted by Agile City. Visitors are welcome to pop in anytime throughout 11am-3pm to explore the historic building.

These walkthroughs will uncover the architectural and social history of the Glue Factory, detail its modern redevelopment into a long-lease studio complex, and explain Agile City’s broader mission to establish a living lab of energy and ideas aimed at driving Scotland’s journey toward net zero.

Alongside the tours, the Glue Factory’s resident creative community will open their private doors to the public for the entire day. You can step inside creative hubs like M.A.R.S, Cue Props, and RISOTTO to meet the artists, designers, printmakers, fabricators, and prop makers who call the space home. The relaxed atmosphere offers the perfect opportunity to ask questions, speak candidly about the future of the venue, and enjoy fresh risotto while taking in one of the city’s most dynamic industrial revivals.
