DIY music promoters Cry Parrot celebrated their fifth anniversary at the Glue Factory by throwing a huge party.

 

With performances from Auntie Flo (live), Blue Sabbath Black Fiji & Gum Takes Tooth, Sacred Paws, Dam Mantle (live), Silk Cut and The Rosy Crucifixion.

 

Cry Parrot is an independent live music promoter based in Glasgow, Scotland, organizing events in the city for over 5 years now.

Driven purely by their passion for music, their aim is to put on events that fun, enjoyable and thought-provoking.

 

In keeping with a DIY ethic, door prices are kept comparatively low and all proceeds are given to the acts and used to fund future ventures.

Alongside individual events, they have also been involved in the curation of ‘Music is the Music Language’ and ‘Glasgow DIY festival 2009’, as well events as part of Glasgow Film Festival, Counterflows iq option festival 2012 and MADE festival (Sweden).
