Civic House Party: Healthy + The Real Wan

Join us as we round off our series of summer events with an outdoor-to-indoor 8 hour extravaganza with food from The Real Wan and music and performance presented by Healthy.

The Real Wan bring their signature style of Guiyang Shaokao (Southern Chinese street BBQ) from Cathcart to Civic Street. Expect unique spicy meats and vegetables all barbecued right outside Civic House in our Civic Street Yard!

Healthy will then welcome everyone inside with their own veritable feast of music and performance courtesy of Alliyah Enyo (Live), dj bean B2B mémi, effua B2B Loreto, más allá, Nat Earthsine, Phil (Healthy), and Wassili (performance artist).

Effua – born in Scotland, raised in an Afro diasporic community. This local selector’s eclectic sound takes inspiration from the large mix of music which made up her upbringing. Her USB contains the likes of Footwork, Baile Funk, Jungle, GQOM, Ballroom and so much more!

Nat Earthsine

Nat Earthsine is a Radio Buena Vida resident and founder of item. Nat will help you find your Friday feeling with a spontaneous selection of records and mp3s, but realistically he is attending for the food! Looking to the future, keep your eyes peeled for Cherub, a clubnight for queers.
