Event in Focus: WEvolution Celebration

The beginning of the year saw Civic House host a poignant final gathering for WEvolution. After 15 years of building community, sharing countless cups of tea, and helping members find their collective power, the charity is beginning its transition toward a new, member-led future.

The day was a beautiful reflection marking the end of WEvolution as a charity, but the beginning of something new. While the physical doors may be closing this month, the spirit of the movement is moving directly into the hands of the community via their new online platform. It was a privilege to provide the space for such an honest, heartfelt, and hopeful handover.

The legacy of WEvolution lives on through their new community, Small Powerful Groups.

As Scotland’s first women-led hybrid community, this organisation is dedicated to boosting confidence, skills, and income within a space where ideas flourish and accountability drives progress. They represent a collective of dreamers, doers, and entrepreneurs who take control of their lives as producers, opportunity makers, and risk-takers.

Operating as equals built on a foundation of trust and optimism, the community believes in the transformative power of the collective to inspire growth. Their mission is to empower women through meaningful connection, while their vision is to cultivate a global movement of unexpected entrepreneurs who make life better for everyone. By gathering to support personal growth and mutual accountability, members achieve their goals together, moving beyond casual networking to foster Small Powerful Groups where deep connections allow the real magic to happen.
