Job Opportunity: Creative Content Producer

We are delighted to announce an opportunity for a Creative Content Producer (6 month, paid internship)

Agile City is a community interest company that creates space for work, learning and events. We operate two buildings located in the North of Glasgow – Civic House and Glue Factory – providing studios, co-working space, venue, galleries and a canteen.

Over the last 3 years we have been developing our two buildings – both have undergone significant works and reopened earlier this year. This is an exciting time to join the organisation, with unique opportunities that contribute to the way we run spaces for cultural and social enterprise.

In May this year we are launching a new website, combining the sites of Agile City, Civic House and Glue Factory into one central platform that will enable our customers to book spaces, event tickets and engage with the activities we support.

The Creative Content Producer will have a key role in writing creative content for the new website, supporting across company marketing and comms, and connecting with audiences who use our spaces. You will gain experience in curating and commissioning engaging, design-led content.

November 2021

Job Opportunity: Civic House Manager (Maternity Cover – Dec 2021-Sept 2022)

We are delighted to announce an opportunity for a 10 month maternity cover contract for Civic House Manager

Civic House is a workspace, venue and canteen that supports a community of people working across social and cultural enterprise. We have recently completed an ambitious retro-fit project of the building creating one of the first post-industrial buildings in Scotland to become energy positive.

Our aim is to create a space and public programme that stimulates ideas for a positive future for the city. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a key part in bringing Civic House to life. We are seeking an ambitious, self motivated and people-focused manager to deliver an excellent service across our event hires and coworking space. Civic House is our public facing space, so the manager should have experience and passion for delivering events within the cultural and social enterprise sectors.

The manager will be the representative of Civic House and dedicated guardian of the building – ensuring the facilities are well managed to create a welcoming and inviting space for members, clients and guests.
